This was my first real adventure back in 2009 and the furthest I have ever travelled. Sailing on Skip Novak’s magnificent expedition vessel ‘Pelagic Australis’, we spent two weeks sailing through the Beagle Channel in southern Patagonia, returning by way of the Southern Ocean and Cape Horn. Such an amazing experience.

Cape Horn is just a rock - but it's the sea that surrounds it that gives it its fearsome reputation. More has been written about this place than perhaps anywhere else in maritime history. Click HERE to visit shop. ©Adrian van der Lee.
